Proofs
A preview of exactly what will print, with sizes and details, that you approve before anything is made.
The proof is the last look before ink goes down. It shows the artwork at the size it will be made, with the details that matter for the job: material, quantity, finishing, and the cut line if there is one.
What to check
- Spelling, phone numbers, web addresses and dates. Read them out loud.
- The finished size and the quantity.
- Anything near the edge that might be in the trim.
- For stickers and decals, where the cut line runs.
Color on a proof is a screen preview, so expect it to shift a little in print. See CMYK vs RGB for why.
Once you approve, we print what the proof shows. Catching a typo at the proof stage costs nothing. Catching it after printing means printing again.
Orders from the Sticker Studio work the same way. The Studio shows you the cut path before you order, and approving it is your proof.
