Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These terms apply when you buy from Printivize LLC, whether through this website, the Custom Sticker Studio, or by arrangement with our shop. Placing an order means you accept them.

They sit alongside two other documents, and where those cover something specific, they govern: our Returns & Refunds Policy and our Privacy Policy.

How your order is made

Most of what we sell is printed, cut and finished in our own shop in Rockland. Some items are produced by print partners we have chosen and work with regularly — specialist processes and equipment we do not run in house.

Either way, your order is our responsibility. You deal with us, and our Returns & Refunds Policy applies exactly the same to a partner-produced item as to one made on our own press. If you want to know how a particular item is produced before you order, ask and we will tell you.

Orders

An order you place is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract when we accept it — normally when we confirm it by email or begin production.

We may decline an order. That happens rarely, and the usual reasons are an artwork file we cannot print acceptably, a material that is wrong for the job you have described, a pricing or listing error, or artwork we will not print (see below). If we decline after you have paid, you get a full refund.

Prices, tax and payment

Prices are in US dollars and are the prices shown at the time you order. Massachusetts sales tax is added where it applies.

Payment is taken in full at checkout unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. On-site charges for extra work are quoted and approved by you before we do the work. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not see or store your full card number.

If a price is obviously wrong — a decimal in the wrong place, a material listed at a fraction of its cost — we will contact you before producing the order rather than either absorbing it silently or charging you more without asking.

Proofs, and what approval means

Most orders are proofed before production. In the Custom Sticker Studio the proof is the actual cut path that goes to the plotter, not a picture of it — how the cut line works explains this in detail.

Approving a proof means accepting the artwork as shown, including spelling, layout, dimensions, color and content. Our Returns & Refunds Policy sets out what this means for reprints, and it is the document that governs.

Once approved, that exact file is bound to your order. If anything about the order does not match the proof you approved, it does not print.

Your artwork

Your artwork stays yours. We claim no rights in it, and we never reuse, resell, or license a file you upload. We store your original so that reordering is instant, and we use it for your orders and nothing else.

When you send us artwork you confirm that you own it or have permission to have it printed, and that printing it will not infringe anyone else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights. If a claim is made against us because that turns out not to be true, you agree to cover our costs in dealing with it.

We do not check whether you hold rights in what you send. We are a print shop, not an arbiter of ownership, and we rely on what you tell us.

Law enforcement and emergency service graphics

Vehicle graphics, decals, badges, seals and department identification for police, fire, EMS and other emergency services are not ordinary print jobs. A convincing set of police vehicle graphics on the wrong vehicle is a public safety problem, and we treat it as one.

If you place an order for this kind of work, we will verify it directly with the department, station or agency named on the artwork before anything is produced. We contact that agency using contact details we source independently — the department’s own published number or official address — not details supplied with the order. This is not a formality and we do not skip it, including for reorders.

We will decline any such order we cannot verify as being placed by, or on behalf of, the agency it identifies. Attempts to obtain police or emergency service vehicle graphics without that authority are reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities, along with the order details and the artwork submitted.

If you are ordering for a department, expect the verification call. It costs you a short delay and it is the reason your agency’s markings are worth something.

Work we will not print

We decline artwork that is unlawful, that infringes someone’s rights, that is intended to deceive — counterfeit packaging, forged documents, fake credentials — or that we judge to be hateful or abusive. This is our call to make, we do not have to explain it, and if we decline after payment you are refunded in full.

Child sexual abuse material is reported immediately. Any such material submitted to us, in any form, is reported without delay to the FBI and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, together with the submitted files and all order, account, payment and access information we hold. There is no warning, no refund, and no further correspondence. This is the one place in these terms where we will not use our discretion.

Production and delivery times

Production and shipping estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Once a package leaves our shop it is with the carrier. If you are working to a fixed date — a trade show, a wedding, an event — tell us before you order and we will be straight with you about whether it is achievable.

Installation

If your order includes installation, the installation fee covers the graphics on that order only, and our Returns & Refunds Policy sets out what we need from the site, how old graphics are handled, and when the fee is not refundable. Please read it before booking.

Returns, reprints and cancellations

Almost everything we make is produced to order and cannot be restocked or resold. Our Returns & Refunds Policy is the full statement of what we will reprint, the seven-day window for reporting a problem, and how cancellation works — including the shorter window that applies to Custom Sticker Studio orders. Please read it; it governs over anything on this page.

Materials, color and real-world performance

Our responsibility covers how your order is printed. How a material behaves once it leaves us depends on the surface, the application, the weather and normal wear — details are in the Returns & Refunds Policy, and what each material is suited to is set out on our Sticker Materials page.

Screens emit light and ink reflects it, so printed color will not match your monitor exactly. Reasonable variation is a normal characteristic of printing. If exact color is critical, tell us before production.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for orders placed through your account.

This website

The text, images, layout and code of this site belong to Printivize LLC, except for your own artwork and anything credited to someone else. You are welcome to use the site to research and place orders. You may not scrape it, copy it wholesale, or use it to build a competing service.

Our responsibility to you

If an order is defective or does not match your approved proof, our Returns & Refunds Policy sets out what is covered, how to report it, and the seven-day window for doing so.

Beyond that, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profit, lost business, a missed event — arising from a late or defective order.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Wholesale and trade

Wholesale and trade accounts may operate under separate terms agreed at the time of order. Where those differ from this page, they take precedence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and disputes are subject to the courts of Massachusetts.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top tells you when this page last changed.

Questions

Ask us. We would rather answer a question before you order than sort out a misunderstanding afterwards.
