Foam board
A light board with a foam center between two paper faces. The go-to for indoor easel signs and event displays.
Foam board is a sheet of foam sandwiched between smooth paper faces. It is light enough to carry under one arm and stiff enough to stand on an easel.
Thickness
- 3/16 inch is standard for most easel and tabletop signs.
- 1/2 inch is stiffer for larger signs and looks more substantial from the side.
Limits
A fingernail will dent it and a corner bumped into a doorframe will crush. Moisture warps it, so it stays indoors. For one event or a season of use it is hard to beat.
We also stock a paper-based board in 1/2 inch. It is about as light, cuts cleanly and is easier to recycle.
