Perforated window film
Printed vinyl full of tiny holes. From outside you see the graphic, from inside you can still see out.
Perforated film, often called one-way vision, is a white vinyl with a black adhesive side, punched with thousands of small holes. The graphic is printed on the white face.
From outside, in daylight, your eye reads the printed surface and the holes disappear. From inside, the black back absorbs light and your eye looks straight through the holes to the street.
Things to know
- The effect flips at night. With lights on inside, people outside can see in, and the graphic looks faded.
- Fine detail softens. Part of the image is holes, so small text should be big and bold.
- We laminate all of it. Without a clear layer, rain fills the holes and the image blurs, and dirt collects in them.
It is a favorite for storefront windows, office glass and the back windows of vehicles.
